Curried Beef Sosaties with Apricots

 1 kg beef sirloin cubes
 dried apricots
 onions
 Cape Malay curry powder
 turmeric
 vinegar
 jam

Simmer curry spices, vinegar, onion, and jam to make a curry sauce. Cool and marinate the beef cubes overnight.

Thread onto skewers, alternating meat, softened onion pieces, and dried apricots.

Braai over hot coals for 6–8 minutes, turning frequently to prevent the dried apricots from scorching.
