Flippen easy marinade

  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • ½ cup of finely chopped onion
  • ⅓ cup of lemon juice
  • ¼ cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup of white wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup of water
  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 whole shallot, finely chopped
  • 4 big mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid pectin
  • 1 teaspoon of dry mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon of onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon

Pop all these ingredients into a blender and blitz until it’s smooth as can be.

Pour everything into a pot and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, giving it a good stir now and then. Then let it cool down.

Once it’s cooled off, stash it in a container in the fridge. Easy peasy!
