Charred Sweet Potato with Biltong Butter

 Whole sweet potatoes
 softened butter
 fine biltong powder
 tin foil

Mix the softened butter with biltong powder. Prick the sweet potatoes all over with a fork, then wrap them individually in heavy-duty tin foil. Place the wrapped potatoes directly into the hot grey ashes at the bottom of the braai. Bake for 45–60 minutes until soft. Slice open and dollop generously with the biltong butter.
