Cheesy Jalapeño Popper Mielies

 Fresh mielies
 cream cheese
 chopped pickled jalapeños
 grated cheddar
 tin foil

Pull back the mielie husks (or use shucked corn). Mix cream cheese, jalapeños, and cheddar. Slather the mixture over the corn, then wrap tightly in heavy-duty tin foil. Place directly onto the coals or onto a hot grid for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally so the cheese melts completely and the corn steams.
