 1 cup tomato sauce
 ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  cup lemon juice
 ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
 ¼ cup white wine vinegar
 ¼ cup water
 6 cloves garlic, minced
 1 whole shallot, finely chopped
 4 large mushrooms
 3 tbsp brown sugar
 2 tbsp soy sauce
 1 tbsp liquid pectin
 1 tsp dry mustard
 ¼ tsp onion powder
 ¼ tsp ground cloves
 ¼ tsp cinnamon
Blend the ingredients

Place all the ingredients into a blender and process on high until completely smooth.

Simmering the Marinade

Pour the blended mixture into a pot and bring it to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat.

Cook for approximately 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, then remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.

Storing

Transfer the cooled marinade into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
