Tender apple slices steamed in their own spiced caramel juices with aromatic cinnamon and brown sugar. These easy foil parcels are the perfect sweet and buttery finish to any braai.
2 tbsp brown sugar or 1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp butter or 4 crisp apples (cored and sliced)

Divide the sliced apples evenly among four large squares of tin foil. Dust each portion with brown sugar and cinnamon, and top with a small knob of butter. Fold the foil edges inward tightly to create individual sealed parcels. Place the parcels directly onto hot coals or a hot grid for 20 minutes, allowing the apples to steam and soften in their own spiced caramel juices.
