Sweet Chilli & Cream Cheese Mielies

Charred, golden sweetcorn cobs slathered in a velvety blend of smooth cream cheese and zesty sweet chilli sauce. A perfect balance of smoky fire and creamy heat.

 ½ cup sweet chilli sauce or 100 g smooth cream cheese
 4 mielies
 100 g smooth cream cheese
 salt

Mix the sweet chilli sauce and cream cheese together in a bowl until smooth.

Place the bare mielies directly onto a medium-hot braai grid. Cook for 15 minutes, turning regularly until the corn kernels are charred and bright yellow.

Remove from the fire and immediately slather the warm corn with the sweet chilli cream cheese mixture before serving.
